I have worked with kids with special needs for 12 years and currently work as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism. I am a psychology major with an ultimate goal to become a mental health therapist. I am very patient and understanding of many different needs and levels of learning. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered behavior therapist who works with kids with autism for my full time job. I love working with kids with special needs and know many different approaches to help kids learn. Some students are visual learners and some students need to learn by doing and I understand that the method of learning depends on the student. I also know how to make learning fun by incorporating the student's interests into learning. If they do not enjoy reading, but they do enjoy Minecraft, then we will start with reading some Minecraft books! I've worked with many different kinds of students and would love to help you!
