What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student is different and I approached each one differently.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a teaching degree in special education. Certified in American sign language. I have taught in public and private school. I recently graduated with a masters in Child Psychology and am working on my doctoral degree in Child Psychology.
I have been tutoring children for about 5 years of all learning abilities.
Given my years in collage I have lots of writing experience and excel at writing, language, and grammar.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
This depends on the student. I like short lessons with breaks to help with focus.

What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds. With and with out disabilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The current child I am working with had learned how to spell words that end with a "ck" and "k" ending sounds. ie book "vs" back. This is a huge improvement for him.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be willing to put in the time.
