I am a 24 year old student at Cleveland State Community college acquiring a degree for Architectural drafting. I'm looking for a career change due to the current pandemic and need of a new atmosphere. I graduated high school from Central Gwinnett High school in 2015. From there I took a couple years off to focus on family. That's how I ended up in Cleveland! I am the second oldest of six with the youngest being 3 so I know patience. I'm looking to turtor children grades 3-12th in different levels of Math, Science , English , Art , and History.
Also, considering we are in a pandemic causing most to choose homeschooling my service offers you and your child a safe and isolated setting to get in person interaction and one on one attention.
I feel some children just need or prefer an extra one on one setting. It's nice to be able to focus on a few children's needs and not worry about so much of a time crunch. I also believe teachers make or break a child's attitude towards learning so I make it my mission to be a teacher they remember postively.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to introduce myself and get to know the student personally. I would ask how comfortable they are with certains aspects and topics. I reassure that I do have a sense of humor so they can relax.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Central Gwinnett High School in 2015 and after taking time off to help family I am now enrolled as a student at Cleveland state Community College. When initially enrolled I was looking to pursue a degree in elementary education. I took a few classes creating lesson plans and activity boards for classrooms. I am now pursuing a degree in architectural drafting and planning to transfer to a four year university to contine on being an architect.

I charge 20-30/hr per session and an additional $50 per extra child (preferably paid paid weekly but I am willing to be flexible.) This price varies on

How did you get started teaching?
I intially wanted to pursue a career in teaching so I took a few classes at Cleveland State CC before switching majors. I also help my siblings with their homework as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with children as young as 2 years old and my the oldest is 13 and in the 7th. But I can work all the way to undergraduate in college.
