Michelle Qiu

Hi! My name is Michelle, and I am an incoming CSE PhD student at the University of Michigan. I graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Sociology in May 2025. I am passionate about making meaningful connections with students and helping others understand high-level concepts. I've previously tutored for ACT/SAT Preparation and AP Calculus AB/BC. I've also mentored students through Matriculate, where my essay editing and advice helped students get into Dartmouth, Brown, Williams, Princeton, MIT, and Vanderbilt. My test scores are 36 on the ACT (on all sections), 1570 on the SAT (790/780 Math/Reading), 339 on the GRE (170/169 Quantitative/Verbal).
