Hello Students! I am ready to help you achieve academic success! I have a BA in English from Western Oregon University and an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Alliant International University in San Diego. I also was able to teach in Austria and Slovakia for four years where I taught a variety of subjects (grammar, writing, literature, computer basics, American culture) to students from twenty countries.

I have been teaching ESL at the college level for over 20 years. I have plenty of experience teaching students in groups, one to one, and through computer interface as well. In addition, I have experience teaching younger students to read and write in English. I have experience teaching from a pre-determined curriculum as well as developing and customizing work for individual students according to their needs.

There is nothing more satisfying than helping a student understand and use new concepts. I would love to help you with ESL, American/English literature, English grammar, writing, proofreading, and related fields.
