Ty Tutors
About
I'm Ty! I tutor in elementary and middle school science, math, and ELA. I'm amazing at adjusting my teacher style to best suit whoever I'm tutoring at the time as everybody learns differently and it vastly differing rates. I spend a lot of my time with elementary and middle school students when I volunteer at camps. I currently am in ACT prep and am taking advanced classes in High School. I have much experience with education as both of my parents are in that field. I learned how to best tutor children when I would sit with the children I looked after at camp and helped them through their summer projects. I feel it's easier for a child to be tutored by somebody who is also a child because of that common connection between tutor and student. The power dynamic is much less tense for the children and they feel more free to be honest about the issues they are having!
