I have always loved to read and write but was not always satisfied with the limitations that were put on me by teachers. My goal is and always has been to encourage students to read by finding things that interests them. Not only this, but by incorporating writing fundamentals in an authentic way to ensure that students are learning the craft while honing their own individual style. I taught in the formal classroom for 13 years and have been homeschooling my own son for 3 years along with tutoring other homeschooled students.
