Liam FitzGerald
About
Hello! My name is Liam FitzGerald, and I’m a rising freshman at the University of Vermont. I’ve offered freelance English tutoring since 2018, which includes services such as essay edits, test preparation sessions, and more.
Regarding qualifications, I scored a perfect 36 on both the Reading and Writing sections of the ACT Test. I know all of the tricks standardized tests will use against your child, and I know all of the ways to overcome them. Furthermore, I took the most difficult English courses available to me throughout high school, and I earned A’s in all of them. Over the past 4 years, I’ve edited over 100 academic essays and have greatly helped my clients improve their English grades. When I edit clients’ essays, I don’t just cross things out; I give detailed analyses on the small details and the overall ideas. I’ve edited college essays, sample standardized test essays, book reports, and more.
I like to provide my clients with as much flexibility as possible. I understand that not everyone has the time to sit with a tutor for an hour, and for this reason, I offer both synchronous and asynchronous essay help. You can send me your essay, and I can send it back within a day, fully edited and analyzed. On the other hand, we can do a Zoom call and work through the essay one-on-one.
Although I primarily tutor English, I also tutor math up to (and including) Algebra I. Throughout middle and high school, I took honors math classes that were two years above my grade level, and I earned A’s. I am extremely comfortable with Algebra I and any lower math levels.
