The best part of tutoring is that I get to work at the level of my learner. I can teach skills that encourage growth, and challenge learners to do their best. Whether it is improving or learning to read at the early stages, reading comprehension, or note-taking and organization, I am able to help.

I typically respond within 24 hours or sooner Monday-Friday. I am available online during day and evening hours.

I taught in a classroom for over 15 years at the middle school level. I have two Master's degrees in education, as well as degrees in elementary and early childhood education. I have TESOL training for ESL learners, as well as LETRS training for direct reading instruction.

I am nationally certified to teach history and science to grades 6-9. I have judged the National History Day Project contest at the regional, state, and national levels.
