What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Tutoring in the past has taught me that not everyone learns the same. My first process with a new student involves learning what type of learner they are, and bring that type of learning into the study process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently a junior at the college of Charleston for American history.
I have tutored many college students in various different historical studies.
as a licensed historical tour guide, I have given over 5000 historical tours teaching adults, and school groups about Charleston history, American history, pirate history, colonial architectural, and African American history.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is 10 dollars for the first session, as it is more to learn about the student and find out more about their learning process. It is 15 dollars per session after.
How did you get started teaching?
In my freshman year of college I learned that loved to help others learn about history.
