What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to ask them what is difficult about the subject first. Then, I like to try a couple different methods until I find what sticks. Next, we start with simple excersises and work our way up to the level they need for the class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not have training, but I am still a student, so I know what it's like to struggle in classes!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What area am I having difficulty with? Do I know my learning style? Do I have a deadline to improve by?
