As a former teacher and current substitute teacher for a local public school district, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students from pre-k to high school. I understand that all students learn differently and the importance of meeting their unique learning needs individually. This is why I strongly believe in parent involvement in order to help me understand how I can best meet the child’s needs for improvement and success in the subject matter I will tutor them in. I aim to set realistic goals and get to know students on a personal level as well to create a comfortable learning environment where students can be confident and engaged in their learning.
