ESL Private Tutoring

I am a Colombian American with 10 + years of experience tutoring in a wide variety of settings. Aside from being fluent in both English and Spanish, I hold a TEFL Certification from the International TEFL Academy, which has given me a range of skills specific to lesson planning for all ages. I have become very comfortable creating lesson plans for large classrooms and individuals alike, keeping in mind that every age group engages differently and lesson plans should reflect that.

Teaching has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My teaching journey started initially in my early teens with after-school and church programs teaching Spanish and English to kids in my community. From there, I continued my teaching journey through volunteer work at non-profits, internships at a specialized Spanish immersion school and an accredited elementary school, and, finally, my own ESL tutoring business. Working in such a variety of environments has given me the privilege of making a positive impact on many different phases of students' lives, and, with this business, I am able to use all those skills to create an even more specialized experience for my students.
