What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know the student's goals, passion, strengths, weaknesses, and needs, then designing a plan to help reach the goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education and experience working with learners of all ages in school and local church settings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, $50/hr, but flexible regarding needs, etc.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a Chrstian Education and Discipleship pastor for amny years and was called to launch and oversee a Christian scchool. To prepare, I returned to school and earned my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and continued teaching various subjects in elementary through high school for 12 years whils also serving as a headmaster.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary, Middle School, and High School students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our school as named the Non-Public School of the Year and several of our students were awarded achievement awards by our local Special Services School District.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Whenever tackling a new or difficult subject, focus on developing the skills and tools of learning and mastering the subject will follow.

How much do I know about the subject?
How well do I understand the basic facts about the subject?
How do I want to be become skilled in using what I learn about the subject?
