I have been teaching English and German in public schools for 22 years. I also have experience teaching English as a second language in Asia and Europe. I have bachelor degrees in English and German. I have 18+ hours graduate work in Linguistics and a masters degree in secondary education and curriculum. I love to help students achieve their goals and I strive to meet individual learning needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet my students and let them explain to me what their goals and expectations are. I want them to tell me what they are struggling with and how they like to learn. We will develop a learning plan and a schedule together and we will adjust as needed.

I have been teaching for 22 years. I have teaching experience in English language, literature, writing, ESL, and German.

My usual price is $30 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I went to University to become a teacher. I have been teaching most of my life. I love it.
