About

I come from a large family of teachers. There's something in us that drives learning and teaching. During my high school years, I worked in a child daycare facility. There, I gained experience with a range of early childhood education as well as learned patience and the benefits of positive reinforcement. While in my master's program, I taught college students and designed teaching programs for various stages of adult education. I've recently published my thesis in advancing collegiate pedagogy in the field of biological anthropology.

Frequently asked questions

I like to meet with the parents first and then the parents and student together. My goal in the first meeting is to let you get to know me and ask any questions you may have, as well as allows me to gain a better understanding of what your student needs in terms of learning style, time requirements, etc.

I hold a Master of Art in Biological Anthropology and Archaeology with a specialization in Forensic Osteology. My published thesis detailed adult learning courses for various levels of training.

My mother is a teacher, my aunt is a teacher, and my sister is a teacher. From an early age I was encouraged to read, learn, and explore. I started teaching in daycare before teaching in college.

I have worked with students as young as 4 and as old as 40 (maybe older, but I won't tell).
