I am a college student looking to spread my knowledge to middle and high school students. I have tutored while in college at Lander University's Academic Success Center for the past 3 years and enjoy all social studies curriculums as well as others specific areas. I hope to increase the knowledge of students through my passion for education.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually try to see where the student is within the curriculum and establish a foundation of knowledge. From here, we can fill in additional areas that may be weak. This is the most important part of making a student the best they can be because my goal for for true learning to happen rather just reciting things from memory.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a current college student who has decided to take on the career path of education. I have also tutored other college and high school students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based on the needs of the student. If they typically only need homework help, I would charge $10-$15/ hour. For full content sessions which require more time to teach and prepare, I would charge $50-$75/session. Coming from less well off background, I understand that money can be a concerning factor and I'd be willing to negotiate some terms if it would be necessary. My main focus is the student progress, not the money.
