Fred Lindstrom, Writing Tutor

I have taught writing and English Literature for over thirty years in private New England secondary schools, working with students in grades 9-12 and preparing seniors for the Advanced Placement Literature and Composition Exam.

I enjoy working with all students, including those who have struggled in the past to meet their teacher’s expectations or have never written a formal, thesis-driven essay, analyzed a poem, play, novel, or short story, or constructed a research paper.

Whether working on sentence-level editing or revising a draft, reviewing grammar or reconsidering vocabulary choices, my goal is to help students feel confident they can meet and overcome their writing challenges.
