I am not the typical, cookie cutter tutor. You have not clicked the profile of an editing professional with an English degree- if that is what you are looking for than I am not the tutor for you. I am about creating PASSION and JOY of learning, writing and information. I want to inspire a lifetime love of education, to create students who walk away genuinely happy to pursue knowledge on their own. I want to inspire curiosity and pass on my love of research (I am currently working towards a PhD in Research and Applied Psychology in Neurocriminology and Forensic Psychology - I genuinely LOVE research.) to as many people as I can, to show that learning can be fun and exciting! I am funky and extroverted, I find memorable lessons injected with humor and laughter stick better for long-term memory storage.

My experience and expertise are with college students- adult learners primarily, however I love working with students 10 and up. I have worked with many students who learn differently, those on the spectrum, and with attention disorders. I enjoy mentorship and creating confidence and enthusiasm for education in and out of the classroom.

Knowing that I am shifting people’s mindsets about education, creating the long-term ability for a person to edit for themselves, and helping individuals achieve their goals is highly fulfilling.
