I hold a Master of Music degree from Yale University and am currently a doctoral candidate at Yale University, where I have also completed and published graduate-level scholarly research. My teaching experience spans private lessons, university classrooms, group instruction, and academic mentoring. I have taught at Towson University in Maryland and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I worked with students across a wide range of ages, learning styles, and goals.

I offer highly individualized tutoring and instruction for motivated learners of all ages, combining over 21 years of teaching experience with elite academic and professional training.

As a professional violinist and violist, I have performed in some of the nation’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and United Nations Headquarters.

In addition to music instruction, I am an exceptional academic tutor with strengths in writing, proofreading, reading comprehension, verbal communication, public speaking preparation, essay development, and high-level critical thinking. I help students not only improve grades and performance, but also develop confidence, clarity, discipline, and intellectual independence.

What I love most about teaching is helping students experience the moment when something “clicks.” Whether we’re mastering a difficult musical passage, refining an essay, or preparing for an important presentation, I enjoy breaking complex ideas into clear, manageable steps that lead to real growth.
