Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talking to the student, and walking them through their learning and what they like and dislike to better understand strengths, weaknesses, and interests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Classical History/Minor in Medieval History and am currently enrolled at Providence College in the Teacher Certification Program for certification in Social Studies. I am a substitute teacher in West Warwick and North Kingstown and have tutored at URI for Italian.
How did you get started teaching?
History and archaeology are my passion, and I believe History is sadly a misunderstood, misrepresented, and mistaught topic in education, and something I would like to change via teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school, middle school, and college level language students.
