What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I will get to know the student by learning about their interests and strengths. Then, I will conduct a preliminary assessment to identify areas of growth. I will also partner with the student and their family to identify goals for our time together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Elementary School Teacher in the state of Rhode Island with three years of teaching experience. I also have a B.S. from University of Delaware and a M.A. from Brown University.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have experience working with a diverse range of brilliant students. I have taught in an Integrate Co-Teaching classroom, serving students with learning differences and behavioral needs. I also have experience teaching English Language Learners.
