Social Studies Tutoring

Hello! My name is Jonathan Cipriano. I teach social studies at Slater Middle School in Pawtucket, RI. I am certified in secondary education, and have taught high school as well. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in History at Rhode Island College.

I love forming positive relationships with students, and getting to know them personally. I enjoy asking students questions which get them to think critically. History is often thought of as boring, but my job is to get the student to connect to the past.

I prefer to teach students one on one. This allows me to build a profile for your student and create a plan which connects them to the material. I use various methods and technologies with my instruction, including readings, videos, and personally crafted assignments.
