I have a work flow that I usually use while working with students:
1) Understanding their goals ( what you want from our sessions)
2) Looking their understanding of the topic ( where you are now)
3) Understadning the bottle necks & figuring out the areas which are causing problems for you
4) Improving them with strategic practice!
