Hello! I am in my final year at the Pennsylvania State University studying International Politics, French & Spanish. Foreign langugage is an incredible skill to have, and I look forward to helping students improve their ability as well as appreciate the culture and global experiences that language provides.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I think every student has a different process of learning, especially when it comes to foreign language. I think the best way is to truly work on the students confidence and ability to make mistakes. Learning a new language is very uncomfortable, and because I am not a native Spanish or French speaker, I can identify with the anxiety and frustration that comes with it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied foreign language for about 8 years now. I have lived in southern france for about 6 months, and I have extensive experience traveling through spanish speaking countries. In fact, I had the unique opportunity to teach gender equality to spanish students in Panama in my Freshman year of college.
