What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to take the first day just to get to know the student, and talk to them about their weak spots in the classroom, and what they find most confusing. Following sessions would include doing work, and printed out extra practice sheets (or blocks, stuffed animals, etc. when working with math, for whatever is most useful and understanding for the student), which I will have with me.
