I have very successfully tutored Spanish to individuals and small groups for 17 years. I am skilled at connecting with all kinds of students and have an excellent grasp of even the most confusing grammar concepts. My forte is simplifying the concepts and explaining them so students can easily grasp them and regain their confidence. My goal is always for students to stand on their own and function successfully without me.

My son just began to see Liz for Spanish tutoring. She encourages him to create flashcards, and quizzes him verbally in each interactive lesson. She even took the care to purchase the book so that they could work on the same lessons he has in his high school Spanish class. We are confident we have selected the correct tutor for him. Frequently asked questions

I assess all past tests, quizzes and homework to see what the student is missing. Then I do an on-the-spot assessment to see what the student knows and where the knowledge deficits are. I then look at the upcoming tests and quizzes and work directly toward helping prepare for those to help get their grade up. Then little by little I go back and fill in the knowledge that the student needs to have long term success. 

I have more than 20 years of experience with excellent success. I was a Spanish major in college and Spent a year studying at the University of Madrid. 

$50/hour.  Slightly more if I have to travel more than 5 miles.

I created an Elementary Montessori Program using the Montessori method of teaching with great success. From there, parents of older students started asking me to tutor their struggling students. Again, I had excellent success elevating their grades successfully. Then adults started asking me teach them and I've branched out into teaching beginner Adult students or students with very little experience.
I have worked with lots and lots of struggling students in middle school through college. Also I help students that want to get and keep an A in their Spanish class. I teach elementary students in person in via Zoom, both small groups and individuals. I teach lots of Adult students currently that want to improve their Spanish or learn as beginners.
Look for someone with many years of experience, like me, who has a proven track record teaching many different types of students and knowing how to work through myriad challenges. I am excellent at what I do, and very experienced, therefore demand a higher price that a teacher who just dabbles in Spanish or is just beginning to teach.
Students need to know what their goals are and honestly ask themselves how much time they would like to put into their studies.
