About
I am a college student studying Spanish and I can help you learn the intricate details of learning a new language. I am going into my junior year at Washington and Jefferson college and I am two courses away from completing my Spanish major! I spent two months this spring studying Spanish in Costa Rica until the Sars-Covid-19 pandemic forced my program to end early :(. I think that learning and studying a new language is very challenging to many people very similar to how math is a struggle for many people in the world. Especially english speaking students learning Spanish, a romance language, is difficult because their language is structured differently than ours; essentially English speakers learning Spanish have to learn a completely different sentence forming formula to proficiently speak Spanish. I have previous experience tutoring my peers in math and the sciences and I am looking to expand into tutoring Spanish!
