Alexandra Tipton

I am a current 1st grade teacher. I have tutored since starting my educational journey in 2009! I am a certified elementary teacher (K-6) and reading specialist (K-12) with a minor in Special Education from Penn State. I received my masters degree from University of Virginia in Reading Education. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, and first grade and tutored students in all grades from K-7th in all subject areas. I am trained in Orton Gillingham and Heggerty Phonological and Phonemic Awareness. I will provide explicit and structured learning into each session to meet your child’s needs! I want each student to be excited and confident in their learning.
