As a high school student, Coach Davis became Florida State Champion and 7th in the USA as a competitive public speaker. In college, he shifted his attention to debate and critical thinking and won a National Championship.
As an adult, Coach Davis has coached students of all backgrounds in speech, debate, essay writing, and many other disciplines. In the competitive realm, approximately 75% of Coach Davis's students have moved on to success as a National Semifinalist, National Finalist, or National Champion.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We'll have a video discussion to fully understand the student's needs. If I can help, then we discuss and agree on specific goals, and a plan of action.
The coaching is typically online as most students are too far away. Some students receive in-person coaching.
We will work with whatever projects/assignments the student wants to use. If there are none, I'm happy to provide them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a state and national champion in multiple countries in multiple categories of competitive speaking/debating. I have a 30-year career as a business executive and a professional coach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 / hour for each hour of direct coaching or coaching preparation is the normal rate.
Special situations can be discussed on an individual basis.
How did you get started teaching?
My very first teaching assignment was during college. I was asked by my high school AP English teacher to come back and teach her AP English class during summer school. From there, I entered a segment of business that involved training/coaching. I have been involved in some form of training/education for 40 years.

Trust the teacher. Let them lead you. Give things a try.
