The Bridge To Learning English
About
I take a proactive approach in establishing rapport and trust in each student, then establishing his/her needs and learning style, then match it with dynamic and thought-provoking lessons to ensure retention of concepts.
I love meeting and working with students from all backgrounds and skill levels. We always have fun together, and I thoroughly enjoy helping each student to grow toward his/her greatest potential. We end up learning from each other and having a great time doing it!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I get to know the student to build a level of trust and get a sense of his/her personality and learning style. Then, I establish current needs and goals, then develop a dynamic lesson plan to engage the student in as many ways as possible. I then teach the concepts, then have the student teach them back to ensure retention. I also make sure to be available for any questions!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergrad degree in Psychology, a minor in Biology, and an honors college degree. I also have a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Through my extensive schooling and professional mentorship of graduate students, along with working with children, I have developed a sound approach to tutoring different students from all types of backgrounds and learning styles.
