I believe good communication is at the foundation of civilization, so I like to think I'm helping protect civilization by enabling students to read great literature and write more effectively, skillfully, and truthfully.

Writing is an art. But like any art it can and must be developed with a lot of practice. I can work with writing students at any skill level and with pretty much any topic, including academic research, persuasive writing, formatting, thesis development, sentence/paragraph construction, drafting, editing, grammar, punctuation, style, clarity, voice, and creativity. I can also help with proofreading and editing essays, resumes, and cover letters.

I hold a BA in English from Regent University, so I have extensive experience with research and analytical writing. I have written papers in most of the major academic formats, including MLA, Chicago/Turabian, and APA.

I also have a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Toronto.

I have 3+ years of experience in education as well as a number of years in non-profit administration.
