Hello, Students and Parents!
As a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 12 years of tutoring experience, I am extremely excited to help you achieve your academic goals. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Biology from Saint Joseph's University (Philadelphia, PA) in 2013 and went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) in 2018. After 7 years of postgraduate education and 2 years of experience working as a laboratory research technician, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to grasp new topics in science. I am an extremely creative instructor, and I enjoy tailoring each session to my invididual student's needs (very similarly to how I treat my patients in the clinic!).
More than anything else, I find immense joy in watching my students achieve their academic goals. I care deeply about the success of my students and will go to great lengths to ensure they feel confident about the work we are doing together.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is so important to me to have a thorough understanding of my student's learning goals as well as the ways in which my student learns best. I then tailor each session to the student's individual needs/likes. I want to make our work together as successful and as fun as possible!

How did you get started teaching?
I have been tutoring science since I was a senior in high school (over 11 years ago!). What always keeps me coming back is the joy I feel watching my students achieve their goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher who knows the content well and truly enjoys their work! It will ensure you have the most productive, fun experience possible.
