What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I greet the student, make them feel comfortable, review the material, help them understand why is it important for them, and increase their confidence to ask questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done 11 years of schooling in Spanish grammar and acquired a degree in Spanish Grammar.
Translation/Translator 6 Years of Work. 17 years of Schooling. Skill Level: Expert. Additional Details; I speak and understand; Spanish, English, Haitian Creole, and some French.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically price my lessons from 4.00$ - 72$ ranging from 10 minutes to 3 hours.
How did you get started teaching?
My friends recommended that I should consider starting a bilingual class, due to the pandemic, I only teach virtually and prefer to do so thru Zoom.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked in the past with, Adults, Kids, Teenagers, and Young Adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My student had an issue with pronunciation and he asked me for help, I worked with him for weeks and now he is doing so much better with his pronunciation.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to seek a teacher that loves what they do.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They would think of questions such as; Do I understand the language? Why do I need to learn it? Or Is this important for me?
