Katydid Photo courses are structured for beginners and intermediate photographers and span the entire spectrum of learning photography from mastering your camera, understanding lighting, composition and learning how to edit and organize like a pro. Her courses also includes photography exercises and critiques.

With each new student, we can spend time getting to know what your goals are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kathy has been teaching film photography since 1984 and digital photography since 2005.
How did you get started teaching?
I worked for a camera store when I was young. He needed to educate his customers so they would buy more equipment. He threw me into the ring of fire and I learned to teach and found that I loved it!
What types of students have you worked with?
Both children and adults.
