The School Of Thought

My teaching methods are different from most traditional teachers. I believe fear of the unknown is why most people can’t learn as quickly and efficiently as others. My approach to math is through logic not memorization. As a former aerospace engineer. I realize that math is not a destination the way it was presented to me in my adolescence but rather it is a means to an end. It’s really more like a journey! It’s a tool to get you somewhere higher in the learning process. It’s a road less travelled for many because they fear it. That’s is unfortunate! My background allows me the privilege of being able to present a solution several different ways, much like a doctor who tries different prescriptions until he finds the correct medication at the proper dosage for each individuals’ needs Sometimes it’s penicillin. However, in those instances where people have an allergic reaction, the need may arise to try something else. That is who I am!
