About

I am currently an active Teacher and a Drexel University Graduate student.

I love to see students' faces when things finally 'Click'. It's the best 'Ah Ha' moment!

I take a creative approach to help students reach their Ah Ha! I have patents and many inventions. I am a problem solver who goes above and beyond via unconventional, but proven learning methods. I currently teach Elementary Math in Philadelphia.

Frequently asked questions

My beginning process for working with any new student of mine is a 3-step process. 1) Encouraging the student to get to know me by asking any questions after I describe my background and experiences. 2) I would begin to learn more about the student's situation, academic weaknesses and strengths, hobbies and interests (so I can try to incorporate these into lesson), and anything the student would like to volunteer. 3) establish trust.

I have owned gyms and led and taught many clients online and in class. I have a love to computers and tech. I have excelled as a trained teacher. I know how to be a student, hence my many college degrees and certifications. So, I understand how to be a student and how students feel.

I started teaching after experiencing the many Ah Ha moments from students learning new gymnastics skills. I strive for that Ah Ha moment.

Elementary and middle school-aged students who are hyperactive and have difficulty paying attention in class and students who are too shy or may be embarrassed to ask their in-class teacher for clarification or to repeat instructions or lessons.

One recent event that made my day (of course its an Ah Ha moment) was when a student finally grasped the steps to long division.

Look for passion in your teacher.

I don't think there is a limit or an exact template on how to approach their teacher. I support talking to your teacher and expressing any concerns, no matter the issue.
