Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depends on each student. One route may be to go over their current work and see what they are struggling with and succeeding on and then craft a strategy to bring everything up to an above satisfactory level. Another method may be to start with an assessment test of my own and then once again craft a strategy to solve the weaknesses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught karate since I was a middle schooler to people of all ages. This gave me lots of experience in the fundamentals of teaching as well as how to interact with people of all types.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
75 for a 60-minute lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started when my karate teacher asked me in 6th grade if I was willing to start sharing my experience and abilities with other students in the dojo.
What types of students have you worked with?
5years olds to 50-year-olds. All types of people.
