About
I’m Kidus, a recent MIT graduate with a degree in Artificial Intelligence and Decision Making. I have a deep passion for teaching and mentorship — from founding a student donation charity in Ethiopia that provided tutoring to hundreds of underprivileged students, to mentoring middle schoolers in STEM through MIT’s dynaMIT program, education has always been at the heart of what I do.
As an MIT Educational Counselor, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing prospective students and helping shape their path to higher education — and I’ve personally tutored a student who went on to get into their dream school. I know what it takes to get there.
Whether you’re working through math, science, computer science, or college prep, I bring both the technical expertise of an MIT AI engineer and the patience and enthusiasm of someone who genuinely loves helping others learn. I tailor my approach to each student’s goals and learning style, making complex concepts approachable and building real confidence along the way.
