About
I am a graduate of the University of Trieste and Temple University, with a Bachelor's in Translation and Interpreting studies. My experience includes 15+ years of tutoring, homework coaching and nannying. I have worked with kids ages 4 to 18, teaching english as a second language and italian, focusing on reading, comprehension, and grammar while teaching about culture and current events for a more immersive experience. Every lesson is different - I have worked with kids that needed a little help and encouragement, those that needed a lot of support and those with ADHD, ADD and ASD.
I believe education plays a fundamental role in a person's development. I strive to teach a comprehensive understanding of a language, being mindful of the impact of words and continuosly learning myself. I love working with kids and teens to realize their potential, helping them grow and learn about different cultures and languages. I enjoy helping students reach their potential in the class room as well, seeing them achieve their academic goals.
