Joseph T. Maher/ 33 Years Experience Teaching LIterature

During my 40 years of teaching with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia I have taught grades 9-12. I also have 6 children all of whom have completed college. I have 2 daughters and a niece who teach 5th and 3rd grade respectively for the Phila. Public school system. My 8 grand children are beginning. their academic climb. they range in age from 2 months to 18 yrs.

I love literature. I am well aware of the fundamentals from plot to theme, from grammar to symbolism. I thoroughly enjoy the teaching process and believe reading is the key to sucess in all filelds of education and occupation.
