I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington with a Masters degree in Chemistry. I have multiple years experience tutoring college-level intro Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, and Physical Chemistry. I will work to tailor my tutoring style to the needs of my student, providing help with a specific topic or taking a broader approach. My goal is to develop confidence in knowledge and application.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I first get to know the student, and then the curriculum that the student is following. From there, I work with the student to identify gaps in their knowledge and develop a supplemental curriculum to fill those gaps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in Chemistry, a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry, and a certificate in computer science.
How did you get started teaching?
I worked as a teaching assistant during my Masters program teaching a range of classes from General Chemistry to Quantum Chemistry
What types of students have you worked with?
Early high school students, First-year college students, and graduate students
