I have not only been a research scientist at several medical centers and research companies, I've taught biology and other sciences for grades 9-12, college, and was an Instructor at U-Michigan Medical School, where I was the Manager of the Learning Resource Center. I have experience tutoring students with various learning disabilities. I use creative approaches to reinforce theory.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA with high distinction from University of Michigan; transferred from Vassar College, where I was elected to Beta Beta Beta biological society. I was a lab aid/tutor at Vassar for Intro Bio, Microbiology and Developmental Bio.
I was a bech scientist for 15 years at Cornell Med School, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Warner Lambert/Parke Davis, and U-Michigan.
In addition to my graduate work and teaching experience, I am certified in Teaching Evidence Based Medicine via McMaster University.
I have been a tutor for several city wide programs for gifted minoritystudents
Moved to Philadelphia in 2000. I started tutoring for StudySmart in 2005, then went out on my own in 2008.

I have a sliding scale that starts at $25/hr. Pricing is negotiable if I'm hired for multiple sessions per week.
