What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the way the student learns best and work with them on retaining knowledge in a personalized strategy that sticks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently an undergraduate nursing student in a rigorous BSN level program at Temple University and I have discovered many study strategies that have allowed me to achieve straight As for the past two semesters and remain in the top 50% of the class.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
In all honesty, I am just trying to make some money as an undergraduate student so I can work with you on a sliding scale!
How did you get started teaching?
I have helped informally tutor children before and have experience in a classroom setting as part of my nursing school training.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly younger children from elementary to middle school age, however I had a blast in high school biology and would probably find it very enjoyable to tutor high school students in that area.
