They give multiple check-ins to see how you like the tutor, how things are going, and ask your opinions. They really listen. The Tutor Thomas Chicas and my son immediately had a great connection. Thomas was very patient and was such a great help with preparing for tests, exams, and homework. Thomas thoroughly gave detailed explanations when there were things that my son did not understand in Calculus and Physics. I am so glad I have such a good tutor for my son's next three years of college. I feel a sigh of relief now. Many students give up on school because they do not have the support they need. I went from getting multiple calls from my son being stressed out and defeated to now feeling confidant about his classes and looking forward to the next semesters. There is nothing negative I could ever say. He is a nice person with a good heart and a brilliant mind. He is very patient when he teaches and he has a gift for explaining difficult concepts very easily in a manner that is easy to understand. He helped me to create notes of the material so I had an easy to understand visual map to guide me through my studies. He was always punctual and continued to help me solve problems even after our scheduled tutoring time.

Going into AP Chemistry was one of the smoothest transitions I have ever experienced, thanks to Mrs. Ndrecka. She was my Honors/IB Year 1 Chemistry teacher with a very unique teaching method. Before moving on to the next slide, she ensures that we all can keep up with her pace. She offers one-on-one sessions and even sacrifices the little free time she has to substantiate our understanding. Even in AP Chemistry, I consistently found myself receiving help from Mrs. Ndrecka, and she even managed to help me achieve the highest grade on an Equilibrium Unit Test within less than an hour, despite my struggles with the topic. Without her, I wouldn't have been able to pass the AP Chemistry exam with such a high score. She has given me the strength and determination to tackle college next year, as I plan on majoring in Biochemistry at a college with high standing.
