Right Start Reading

Teaching reading is my passion, and I have been a successful reading specialist for the past 6 years. I have been extensively trained in the Orton Gillingham approach through the Orton Gillingham Academy of Practitioners and Educators, and I've also received my Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner Certification.

I love to see students' confidence in reading grow when they transition from knowing only a few letters to reading full sentences and paragraphs. I also love helping older readers develop a sense of success and joy after completing a reading passage and finally understanding it.

I help students achieve this success by diagnosing the problem using a thorough assessment to determine the precise area of concern.

I then map out a specific plan of action to address those concerns. I keep you informed each step of the way as we work together to get your child on their way to reading success, confidence, and enjoyment!
