Dr. Semontee Mitra

I’m an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State University (University Park). I teach English and American Studies. I’ve taught students of various ages. I’ve tutored English to international students. I’ve taught ESL courses as well. I’ve tutored high school students and often help high school graduates with their admission essays.

My undergraduation and master’s degree are in English Literature. My Ph.D. is in American Studies from Penn State University. I’ve been teaching at Penn State for the last 10 years. I’ve been teaching high school students and ESL students for over 20 years now.
