What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Finding a fun connection between myself and my students I have found makes the introductory period go by quicker which gives us more time to focus on learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over twelve years of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. In those years I have learned to teach and train people from all walks of life and enjoyed every minute of it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35 an hour and $60 for two hours.
How did you get started teaching?
During my time in the military, part of some of my duties were to mentor new recruits in high school and guide them through a lot of the processes and expectations they were facing.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught middle schoolers and high school.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my former students recently graduated at a college in GA as a validictorian.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you have a close connection that you and they can build off of. Being able for the student and teacher to relate makes it all that much more productive and fun.
