What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin tutoring sessions with creating a plan of action with the student to best fit their academic goals. From there, we will do a brief placement quiz to see what specifically needs work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching in GED Adult Corrections for 4 years in all four primary subjects. Prior to my current position, I was a TA during my Graduate Studies in History, where I often tutored students. I worked with students with disabilities during my undergraduate degree as a tutor as well.
