I am a passionate and experienced educator with nearly two decades of teaching experience in special education and elementary education. With a Master’s in Special Education and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education & Sociology, I have dedicated my career to fostering student success through individualized instruction, evidence-based interventions, and a deep understanding of diverse learning needs.
I specialize in differentiated instruction, literacy interventions, math support, and executive functioning strategies to help students overcome learning challenges and achieve their full potential. Whether your child needs academic support, confidence-building, or structured learning strategies, I am here to help!
I have extensive experience with a variety of reading interventions, including Wilson, Sonday, Orton-Gillingham, Heggerty, and Equipped for Reading Success. Additionally, I incorporate SnapWords to support the instruction of irregular sight words. I strongly believe in using visual aids, stories, and multisensory strategies to help students connect word parts with sounds, and I have a wealth of resources to support this approach. To make learning engaging and fun, I integrate phonics-based games and hands-on activities that help reinforce key literacy skills.
